RESPONSE TO COVID-19 VIRUS

Dear family and friends of the Evangelical Latin Church, we greet you in the love of the Lord hoping that you will be filled with his peace and hope.

We wish to inform you about our response to the COVID-19 virus. As an evangelical church, our goal is to care for God's family and our community. Therefore, we join the effort of the authorities to combat this virus. The church will submit to suggestions from the government as long as they do not violate our core values and doctrines.

We invite you to join us to Worship God with us here in person or from your home and receive God's word for your lives, every Sunday at 9:00AM, 11:15AM and 1:30PM in English.

We ask you to join us in prayer and fasting. Pray for the families of the Evangelical Latin Church. Pray for the families around the world who are affected by this virus. Pray for a worldwide recovery soon. Join the fasting and prayer chain here.

Our church takes the health of each congregant very seriously. The church is being disinfected every day before and after every event. We have installed hand sanitizers around the church. We have installed portable sinks around the facility. We ask that everyone practice good hygiene by washing their hands regularly. Also, for the sake of mutual care, we ask that if you are sick, have a history of respiratory health problems or weakened immune system, please refrain from being in public places and church services. We will be practicing a fellowship of distance and greeting without the use of hands (no offense) for mutual care. The ushers will take your temperature, give you a mask if you don't have one and ask you to use hand sanitizer gel. The ushers will then take you to the most available seat.

Our decisions will continue to be guided by information provided by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We do not live in an attitude of fear, but we are also called to be wise and diligent in our actions.

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are ordained by God. - Romans 13:1
