Since its inception in 1925, Women's Ministries has developed a powerful and vital service to every woman in the local church. In every congregation there are women ministering in the choir or in the nursery, teaching the Word or leading a meeting, organizing evangelistic activities or directing missionary projects. The diversity of ministries is determined by the imagination of the ladies and the call of God to each one. Through this ministry every woman has the opportunity to serve and to receive the service of others. Look at the women in your community and consider what you see. Some are alone, others have husbands and children, almost all have friends. You will see women of all ages and backgrounds; some may be widowed, others divorced. There are professional women, others who study, and those who work at home. All have the same need: to know the Lord personally. Assemblies of God Women's Ministries has resources to present the message to each of them.
